Education for all
In light of the difficult economic conditions in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Friendship Center for Development launched the Economic Empowerment of Youth Project, which aims to create sustainable job opportunities for graduates and unemployed workers.
Project objectives:
- Training 500 young men and women in freelance and remote work skills.
- Providing small financial grants to 50 entrepreneurial projects.
- Creating partnerships with the private sector to provide practical training opportunities.
Achievements to date:
Thanks to God, the first phase of the project has been completed, during which 200 beneficiaries were trained and 20 grants were distributed for small businesses. Initial results have shown remarkable success in integrating beneficiaries into the labor market.
The project will continue in its next phases to include new sectors such as technological agriculture and craft industries, with the aim of expanding the base of beneficiaries and achieving comprehensive economic development.
